I’m writing this in a flurry, because I literally (just a few minutes ago!) made a massive discovery, totally by accident.
We were in the Tudor Room at Mapperton looking for something else, and I stumbled across this Gilded Age artefact that I’d been told was probably at the manor, but haven’t been able to locate.
I recored this voice note right after I found it, because I wanted to let you know about it. I’m still shaking!
Luckily, our camera crew for the YouTube channels was around when this happened, so the video version of this will go out soon…BUT I just have to tell you now! (Yes, the cameras caught me weeping about this!)
